Cuenca is the capital of the provice of the same name. Located about 2 hours east of Madrid, it's famous for its Hanging Houses and picturesque landscapes, and now for the engagement and wedding of Jim and Megan. The medieval center of the city lies on a hill between the gorges of the rivers Jucar and Huecar. It can be reached easily by highway or rail. See the section "how to get there" for more information.
